Hm. Live action could work
I'll admit, when I first heard you were planning to do the movie in live action, I had some serious doubts. These last two "V for Vile" releases have allayed them somewhat, insofar as you've proven that Count Vile translates well to live action. However, unless you've got a talented, dedicated 3D artist working for you, I don't see how you'll be able to pull off some of the monsters and non-human characters (e.g. Buzz the Hedgehog) in that format. And no offense, but the outdoor rendering of Vile's lair looks like something I did during my first two weeks of Intro to 3DS Max. Animating characters in 3D is a whole 'nother ball game.
Anyway, here's hoping you've found a good solution to that problem--you know, other than limiting the cinematographer entirely to shots of Count Vile sitting around his lair. ;)
